Pipty Pish

Turn your Playdate into a fishing rod.

I built Pipty Pish around one idea: making the Playdate feel like a fishing rod. Cast and set the hook with motion controls, then use the crank to battle every catch.

Swing through an overhead cast, wait for the float to disappear beneath the water, then lift sharply to set the hook. Once the fish bites, use the crank to reel it in—but don’t slow down. Every fish fights differently, pulls out line, and becomes more desperate as it approaches the shore.

Catch 50 fish to complete a run, chase higher scores, and hunt for the elusive giant catfish.

Every successful catch erupts into a loud anime-style celebration, featuring voiced encouragements in ten Asian languages, before revealing a full-screen 1-bit fish illustration.
